VENDOR AGREEMENT PURPOSE CLAUSE:

 The NYC Multicultural Festival is a mission-driven event produced by New York African Chorus Ensemble, Inc. to promote cultural understanding, community engagement, and the celebration of diverse heritages through the arts. 


By participating as a vendor, you agree that your goods, services, or food offerings are aligned with the cultural, educational, or artistic spirit of the festival and contribute to the public’s experience of multicultural traditions.

Celebrate New York City’s vibrant cultures at the 17th Annual NYC Multicultural Festival! Enjoy lively performances, diverse cuisines, and a welcoming audience while promoting your business. This is your chance to connect with new customers and showcase your offerings — register today!


Day 1 – Park Festival

  • Date: June 6, 2026
  • Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Location: Jackie Robinson Park Bandshell
    116 Bradhurst Ave., New York, NY 10039
    (Cross street: 148th Street & Bradhurst Avenue)

Day 2 – Street Festival

  • Date: June 20, 2026
  • Time: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Location: Usually takes place on St. Nicholas Avenue (between 141st & 145th Streets) Harlem, NY


Important: Please review Food Vendor Registration Requirements and  Cooking Regulations for each festival location before registering. There are differences in regulations depending on the venue, please see below each festival day.

Vendor Criteria Clause:

 Vendors must offer products or services that are consistent with the mission of the festival, such as traditional cuisine, artisan crafts, cultural apparel, educational materials, or other mission-aligned goods. 


 NYACE reserves the right to decline vendors whose offerings are not compatible with the cultural and educational objectives of the event. 

Food Vendor


Day 1- Park Venue Food Vendor Registration


The first festival, on June 6th,  is held on NYC Parks property, so all vendors must register and meet NYC Parks requirements.


Step 1: Register & Pay Through Eventbrite

Your registration fee includes:

  • The festival vendor fee
  • The required insurance coverage fee


Important: Registration fee for Food and Retail Vendors is inclusive of vendor fee and insurance required by the NYC Parks Department. NYC Parks have specific insurance requirements.


Step 2: After registering, you’ll need to submit the required additional documents.

  1. Certificate of Attestation of Exemption form (CE-200) Proof you have no employees. This is a simple online form that can be completed, signed, and emailed back following the instructions we send you. Certificate of Attestation of Exemption form (CE-200) can be requested online via the following link: https://www.businessexpress.ny.gov/app/answers/cms/a_id/2263/kw/CE OR If you do have employees, submit C-105.2 Certificate of Worker’s Compensation Insurance OR a U-26.3 State Insurance Fund Certificate of Workers’ Compensation Insurance.
  2. Food Service Permit (Food vendors only) – DOHMH Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit
  3. Food Handler’s Certificate (Food vendors only)
  4. Proof of Disability Insurance – Certificate of Coverage under the NYC Disability Benefits Law (not required if submitting Workers’ Compensation Exemption FormCE-200)


PARK FOOD VENDOR REGULATIONS- JUNE 6TH

*Bring your own fire extinguisher.

* Wrap all burners (including stands) completely in aluminum foil.

* Grilling must include a lid; pre-cooked food is strongly encouraged.

* If using charcoal, take your ashes with you when leaving.

Strictly Not Allowed:

* No Styrofoam plates or containers are allowed.

*No generators or electricity are provided.

* No gas grills of any kind (including propane)

* No Open flames

Early Bird Registration with Rentals while supplies last (Ends April 20, 2026)

  • Food vendor: $189 
  • Includes 10x10 space + free tent, table, and chair


Early Bird Vendor Space Only (No Rentals)

  • Food Vendor: $189 
  •  Includes 10x10 raw space only (bring your own setup or add rentals during checkout)


Standard Registration Space Only (NO RENTALS) (After April 20, 2026)

  • Food Vendor: $204
  • 10x10 raw space only (bring your own setup or add rentals during checkout)

Day 2 – Street Festival- June 20th


Vendors Registration Details:

Early Bird Includes Free Rentals (Ends April 20th):

  • Food Vendors: $125
  • If using gasoline or propane there will be a $50 additional fee
  • Includes a 10x10 raw space.
  • This Early bird registration comes with Free Rental of one table, one tent and one chair (upon meeting necessary requirements). This is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Early Bird Vendor Space Only No Rentals Included (ENDS April 20th)

  • Food Vendors: $125
  • If using gasoline or propane there will be a $50 additional fee
  • Includes a 10x10 raw space only.
  • NO free rentals are included with this registration. If you need a table, chair, or tent, you can scroll down and select rentals to add to your order. You are also welcome to bring your own table, chair, and tent.

FOOD TRUCK/TRAILER VENDOR REGISTRATION

  • Food Vendor: $250.00
  • If using gasoline or propane there will be a $50 additional fee


Standard Registration (After April 20th):

  • Food Vendor: $150.00
  • If using gasoline or propane there will be a $50 additional fee
  • Includes a 10x10 space.
  • NO FREE rentals are included.
  • Tables, chairs, and tents are available for a rental fee. Payable through the Eventbrite Registration Page.

  • Food Handlers Certificate


All Food vendors must have a Food Handlers Certificate to be allowed to serve food to the public. If you need to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate visit: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/business/health-academy/food-protection-online-free.page

  • If using gasoline or propane there will be a $50 additional fee



STREET FOOD VENDOR REGULATIONS- JUNE 20th

  • Burners must be fully wrapped in aluminum foil.
  • Grilling is allowed with a lid; burners may also be used.
  • If using charcoal, you must remove your ashes after the event.
  • Styrofoam plates are banned — use eco-friendly alternatives.
  • Gas cooking is allowed with a maximum of 10 pounds (additional fees apply).
  • Vendors must provide their own approved generator and fire extinguisher.
  • No electricity or open propane flames permitted.

 

How to Register

  1. Choose your category (Food Vendor, Retail Vendor, Sponsor, Social Services, etc.).
  2. Select rental equipment (if needed) and add it to your order.
  3. Complete registration by May 1st if rentals are required.
  4. After approval, help promote the festival by sharing digital flyers and event info!
  5. Complete registration and payment via Eventbrite or mail money order to:

  1. Save your Eventbrite ticket (print or digital). Tickets are required for entry at the gate.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

All information that is provided by Vendors/Merchants is considered  confidential and is only shared with the applicable City agencies and services that require such information.  All Vendors/Merchants will be contacted directly via email, phone or in person to fully validate your information.  All Vendors/Merchants Spot #, location, own tables required, tent, and requirements must be indicated on application. You should plan on being ready to setup by 9 am or once NYPD allows access to the area.
