The NYC Multicultural Festival is a mission-driven event produced by New York African Chorus Ensemble, Inc. to promote cultural understanding, community engagement, and the celebration of diverse heritages through the arts.
By participating as a vendor, you agree that your goods, services, or food offerings are aligned with the cultural, educational, or artistic spirit of the festival and contribute to the public’s experience of multicultural traditions.

Important: Please review Food Vendor Registration Requirements and Cooking Regulations for each festival location before registering. There are differences in regulations depending on the venue, please see below each festival day.
Vendors must offer products or services that are consistent with the mission of the festival, such as traditional cuisine, artisan crafts, cultural apparel, educational materials, or other mission-aligned goods.
NYACE reserves the right to decline vendors whose offerings are not compatible with the cultural and educational objectives of the event.
The first festival, on June 6th, is held on NYC Parks property, so all vendors must register and meet NYC Parks requirements.
Your registration fee includes:
Important: Registration fee for Food and Retail Vendors is inclusive of vendor fee and insurance required by the NYC Parks Department. NYC Parks have specific insurance requirements.
*Bring your own fire extinguisher.
* Wrap all burners (including stands) completely in aluminum foil.
* Grilling must include a lid; pre-cooked food is strongly encouraged.
* If using charcoal, take your ashes with you when leaving.
* No Styrofoam plates or containers are allowed.
*No generators or electricity are provided.
* No gas grills of any kind (including propane)
* No Open flames

Vendors Registration Details:
All Food vendors must have a Food Handlers Certificate to be allowed to serve food to the public. If you need to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate visit: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/business/health-academy/food-protection-online-free.page

All information that is provided by Vendors/Merchants is considered confidential and is only shared with the applicable City agencies and services that require such information. All Vendors/Merchants will be contacted directly via email, phone or in person to fully validate your information. All Vendors/Merchants Spot #, location, own tables required, tent, and requirements must be indicated on application. You should plan on being ready to setup by 9 am or once NYPD allows access to the area.
