Food Vendor Registration per day (PLEASE READ FOOD VENDOR COOKING  REGULATIONS EACH FESTIVAL LOCATION BELOW)

 Early Bird Includes Free Rentals (Ends April 20th):

• Food Vendors: $125
• Includes a 10x10 raw space.
• This Early bird registration comes with Free Rental of one table, and one chair (upon meeting necessary requirements). This is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Early Bird Retail (NR) - No Rentals included (Ends April 20th)

• Food Vendors: $125
• Includes a 10x10 raw space only.
• NO free rentals are included with this registration. If you need a table, chair, or tent, you can scroll down and select rentals to add to your order. You are also welcome to bring your own table, chair, and tent.

Standard Registration (After April 20th) :

• Food Vendor: $150.00
• Includes a 10x10 space.
• NO FREE rentals are included.
• Paid rentals for tables, chairs, and tents are available for a fee through the Eventbrite registration page.

PARKS REQUIREMENT: 

 ***ATTENTION: Additional documents are required, including a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for Commercial General Liability Insurance for the June 7th event, as mandated by the NYC Parks Department. If you do not have your own insurance, an additional fee will apply. Specific NYC Parks language and guidelines will be provided for compliance.

Key aspects of the registration process:

 All food vendors are required to register to reserve a spot. As part of the registration process, vendors must:

1. Include their DOHMH Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit with their application.
2. Provide a valid Food Handlers Certificate.
3. Submit payment for the registration fee and, if needed, for table, chair, or tent rentals.
4. Comply with additional requirements or fees according to the Park or Street festival regulations.

Food Vendor (read carefully)

All Food Vendors Must have the following:

1.  DOHMH Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit. The permit can be obtained through the Department of Consumer Affairs.

2. Food Handlers Certificate

All Food vendors must have a Food Handlers Certificate to be allowed to serve food to the public. If you need to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate visit: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/business/health-academy/food-protection-online-free.page

3. A completed NYC Multicultural Festival registration form and payment through Eventbrite.

 4. For all vendors participating in Day 1 at the Jackie Robinson Park Bandshell- Saturday, June 7th festival, the following items are also required by the City and State agencies. These documents are not difficult to obtain and remember that we are here to help you every step of the way. Please email us these items no later than May 1, 2025.​ 

A)   Proof of Workers’ Compensation - There are three possible types of Worker’s Compensation, of which we only need one.          

C-105.2 Certificate of Worker’s Compensation Insurance;   

OR       

U-26.3 State Insurance Fund Certificate of Workers’ Compensation Insurance;   

OR

Food Vendor Regulations (PARK): 

Cooking at Jackie Robinson Park (June 7 only)

• Cars are not allowed to unload in the park — carry items by hand.
• Be prepared to navigate stairs at the park entrance.
• Bring your own fire extinguisher.
• Burners must be fully wrapped in aluminum foil, including stands.
• Grilling is allowed with a lid. Pre-cooked food is recommended.
• No generators or electricity will be provided.
• No open flames or propane gas setups allowed.
• Styrofoam plates are banned. Please do not use them.

Open flames, propane, or gas grills.

- Provide your own approved generator and fire extinguisher.

- No electricity or open flames (propane open gases) allowed.
