What is the Inaugural NYC Multicultural Festival Crawl?

The NYC Multicultural Festival Crawl is a citywide celebration of the resilience, ingenuity, and shared values that make New York—and America—strong. Under the theme "We Are New Yorkers," this two-week cultural showcase honors the heritage, talent, and contributions of the diverse communities that help drive our city's success.

In partnership with local cultural organizations, businesses, and performers, the festival features live entertainment, interactive workshops, and traditional showcases that highlight the deep-rooted traditions and entrepreneurial spirit of New Yorkers. From music and dance to food and art, attendees will experience the rich cultural fabric that strengthens both our city and our nation.

This festival is more than a celebration—it’s a statement: New York thrives because of its people, their talents, and their dedication to hard work and excellence. As we highlight the cultural traditions that have helped shape the city, we reaffirm our shared identity as proud New Yorkers and contributors to America’s enduring greatness.

We seek partners who embody excellence, heritage, and engagement while contributing to the strength of America’s cultural landscape. Organizations must demonstrate a commitment to honoring traditions, fostering talent, and creating opportunities for communities to thrive.

Commitment to Cultural Heritage and National Unity
Organizations must showcase a dedication to preserving and sharing cultural traditions in a way that strengthens American identity. Participants should offer programming that highlights the positive contributions of diverse cultural communities to the fabric of American society while fostering national pride and unity.

Excellence in Programming
Applicants should have a proven track record of high-quality, engaging cultural activities that showcase artistic, musical, culinary, or historical excellence. Programs should inspire pride in heritage, resilience, and achievement, reinforcing the value of hard work and dedication.

Community Impact and Engagement
Organizations must actively connect with and uplift their local communities, creating opportunities for people to engage in meaningful cultural exchange. Programs should emphasize collaboration, shared values, and the role of cultural traditions in strengthening America’s future.

Location and Accessibility
Events and venues must be located in New York City and accessible to the public. Preference will be given to organizations that provide family-friendly environments that promote shared cultural appreciation and national pride.

Collaboration and Cross-Promotion

Partners must be willing to work collaboratively with the NYC Multicultural Festival team, promote the event, and uphold the festival’s mission of celebrating cultural excellence within the American experience.

Event Readiness and Compliance

Participating organizations must be fully prepared to host their activities between June 8 and June 20, 2025. All venues and programs must comply with city safety and accessibility regulations to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience.

Finale Festival Participation

All partners in the NYC Multicultural Festival Crawl are expected to participate in the Finale Festival on June 21, 2025, contributing as performers, activity specialists, vendors, exhibitors, or other key participants. Any organization unable to participate in the finale must submit a detailed explanation. A panel will review requests, granting exceptions only under special circumstances.

How to Apply

Steps

1. Interested organizations should complete the participation form on our website by Friday, March 7th, 2025 along with the form, please provide:

A brief description of your organization and its mission.
An overview of the proposed activity or event, including its cultural significance.
Details of past culturally specific programming (if applicable).
Any relevant photos, videos, or testimonials that highlight your work

2. Selected participants will be featured on the NYC Multicultural Festival Crawl's promotional materials, website, and social media platforms.
